Parasound's Ztuner v.2 packs a lot of features into its compact chassis. Ztuner is part of Parasound's highly acclaimed zcustom product line of half-width, full-performance components. As with all the "Z" products, it offers superb multi-room performance at a compact size and price. Just 9.5" wide, the Ztuner v.2 fits into almost any space, but it's got lots of capability. Automatic, manual, and preset tuning make it easy to find and enjoy your favorite FM and AM stations. The 30 station presets are switchable to eight for quicker scrolling, and you get direct frequency access via remote and RS-232. Looking for a compact tuner for a multi-room installation? The Ztuner v.2 features automatic on / off via its 9 - 12 V trigger with looping output and full remote control with discrete on / off commands. The remote handset is assignable up to four different zones, and the rear panel includes an infrared remote input and looping output. Performance is every bit as good as you would expect from Parasound. The Ztuner v.2 boasts a capture ratio of 1.5 dB and FM sensitivity of 108 dBf in mono mode for pulling in those difficult 'fringe' stations. FM selectivity of 80 dB provides superior channel separation in crowded band conditions. You'll admire the AM performance, too!
